Hello Breanna Williams,
This post is amazing. I like your description on the different goals of both social work and case management. I was more interested on social work and I agree with you that clinical social work includes evaluating the needs of the customers, analyzing clients’ behavior, and establishing successful treatment strategies. From my understanding on this, it is true that the goal of any clinical social worker is to maintain and enhance the psychosocial functioning of families, individuals, and small groups. This means that clinical social work mostly focuses on the diagnosis, assessment, prevention, and treatment of emotional disturbances, mental illnesses, and other behavioral problems (Rollins., 2020). To be successful as a clinical social worker, one needs to be certified or licensed at the clinical level when doing this practice. Thank you.

This is an awesome post. I agree with you that case management helps in assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the services and options needed in order for a social service organization is able to meet the human and health services needs of the clients.
