Relationship Between Socio Economic Index of Individual and Occupational Prestige Score (Math Problem Sample)
This math task focuses on simple linear regression. The professor had given the student a set of data to help explain the concept of simple linear regression. Using this data set, I plotted a graph with a line of best fit. Using this graph, I came up with an equation in the form of y = mx + c established, where m is the gradient and c is the y-intercept. Using these elements of the equation, I was able to explain the relationship between the Socio-Economic Index of Individual (SEI) and the Occupation Prestige Score.

This paper analyses the linear relationship between Socio Economic Index of Individual and Occupational Prestige Score. Socio Economic Index of Individual (SEI) is a measure of an individual’s occupation, and education and other variables. This index has a significant effect on the Occupation Prestige Score. Therefore, in this analysis, SEI will be considered as an independent variable while Occupation Prestige Score will be a dependent variable. The two variables will be represented graphically from where a trend will be established and equation derived.

- Method of Integration, Identity Matrix, Differential Equation, and Linear EquationsDescription: To evaluate ʃ x sin 3x dx, we use the method of integration by parts given by the formula; ʃ u dv = uv-ʃ v du Let u = x, dv = sin 3x; then, v= -cos 3x and du = dx. Now substituting in the formula we get; ʃ x sin 3x dx = x-1/3cos 3x-ʃ-1/3cos 3x dx = -1/3cos 3x+1/9sin 3x+C, where C is a constant.
