Introduction
Diabetes has become more popular for its significant health concerns developed from the existence of the two types of diabetes, diabetes type 1 and type 2. Over the years, there has been slow progress on implementation of recent management approaches, as well as the pathophysiology of diabetes, especially in adults. Hence, the most common treatment approaches devised by scientist is the evidence-based interventions seeking to manage diabetes in adults (Kelly et al., 2018).
Among these evidence-based treatment techniques recommended for adults includes; devotion to blood glucose, cholesterol, and blood pressure among others. For instance, in their research, Kelly et al. (2018) examines the eating habits of adults in an attempt to devise a new intervention for diabetes in adults. According to Kelly et al. (2018), adults are recommended to have a standard nutrition intake prescribed and endorsed by healthcare providers. Incretin Replacement Therapy is a new technique introduced to manage and treat adults with diabetes. In this research, I seek to examine a new intervention technique namely Incretin replacement therapy, for managing diabetes in adults.
