Part 1
Samsung has introduced a new technology to improve the existing memory storage and battery size. Reports show that the company has a new module memory known as embedded multimedia card. The embedded multi-media card is introduced into a controller that assists in managing multiple memory sizes. The memory module plans to improve the current memory module by ensuring that all memory storage is in one place creating space for a larger battery size. The memory contents comprise of the 3GB LPDDR3 DRAM, 32GB eMMC. Assembling the different memory components creates room for 40% battery size (McGregor, 2015).
Samsung has effectively managed the change of memory to create room for a larger battery size. The improvement of battery life has been received and taken well by the management and concerned parties because of the benefits accompanied by the improvement. The customers of Samsung Smartphone are also set to gain from the change in technologies. The effectiveness of change has been promoted by the commitment by the company administration and employees making it easy to adopt the technological changes (McGregor, 2015).
The change of memory package for increased battery size has impacted the company positively. Samsung Smartphone clients had been complaining that the battery life of the current phones in the market was short. Therefore, improving the battery size increases the time with which the battery charge ends. The results of the changes are increased sales and customer satisfaction regarding their products. The change in technology also affects my organization positively since it increases client satisfaction that in turn increases sales and revenue (McGregor, 2015).
 
Part Two
Oh-Hyun Kwon is the new chief executive officer of Samsung. Oh-Hyun Kwon has simple leadership styles that comprise of the participative leadership style. A participative leadership style that is also called the democratic style is a form of leadership style that involves the CEO allowing input from the managers. However, the final decision is made by Oh-Hyun Kwon. Participative leadership allows employs participate in the decision-making process (Sculey, 2013).
Oh-Hyun Kwon leadership is effective if the company wants to make technological changes. Since employees participated in the decision-making process, it is easy for them to accept the changes (Sculey, 2013). The leadership style has made Oh-Hyun Kwon effective in that the market share of Smartphones has increased. Samsung has recorded a high amount of sales.

My leadership vision is to become a world leader that impacts the world positively encourages change and raises future leaders through coaching and mentorship.
Leadership Goals
The first leadership goal is to improve my strategic thinking. Improving strategic thinking enables me to see the big picture and a wide perspective of the business. More so, it assists me to relax from the day to day work activities and focus more on the "why" rather than the "how”. The second goal is to try to listen and pay attention to details. Listening is a good communication element that assures clients and employees that I value them (Ullah & Lai, 2013). Furthermore, I would like to practice active listening, use open-ended questions, and remove distractions.
The third leadership goal is to change my leadership style from always directing to guiding and coming up with direct reports. Change of leadership style involves developing a mentorship program that enable coaching of young employees and preparing them for leadership positions in the future. I will also work with direct reports to create individual development plans.
Fourth leadership goal is to develop a financial acumen that comprises of learning and understanding how to interpret financial reports. Learning how to interpret financial reports and use numbers assist in keeping good records that improve my business. Knowing how to interpret numbers will also assist me to make good decisions regarding the marketing and sale strategies of company products (Mostovicz, Kakabadse, & Kakabadse, 2009).
The fifth leadership goal is to learn about aspects of other businesses other than the companies and competitors. Having cross-functional knowledge and perspectives is significant for diversifying and allowing the company to enter into other fields. Besides having cross-functional knowledge and understanding, I would also like to improve my knowledge of the industry, competitive advantage, and customer advantage. Having knowledge of my industry, assists in developing strategies that encourage competition and increase customer satisfaction. For these reasons, I would like to improve my knowledge on my industry, competition in the industry, and customer knowledge especially customer preferences, satisfaction feedbacks, and share reports.
The sixth leadership goal is to improve e my ability to command the attention of a crowd and peers in a room. Having the ability to command a room is accompanied by the ability to communicate effectively in an authentic manner. The form of communication must also be able to inspire others to be good and effective leaders. Besides improving my leadership presence, I would also like to develop a kind of leadership that not only impacts the employees in a positive manner but also that will bring about change (Kotter, 2013).
The seventh leadership goal is to improve my capacity to manage remote reports. Also, gain skills that enable me to use effective technology to improve the organization productivity and revenues. More so, have the ability to use technologies to plan, communicate, and achieve organizational goals.
The other leadership goal is to improve my relationships with fellow employees and peers. Develop relationship skills that will enable me become a better business partner and understand company and partnership goals. Furthermore, I would like to develop my ability to hire, discover, and develop employees. Having the skills to hire good talent and skills ensures that the company has employees who will assist in creating a competitive advantage. Lastly, I would like to be a good time manager and have good time management skills. I would like to know how to concentrate more on how I can concentrate on value-adding activities and the ones that will assist me to focus more on the business partner’s goals.
Timeline for Reaching Goals
Within a span of one year, I would like to achieve the following goals have a financial acumen where I learn and understand the use of numbers and financial aspects of an organization and business. Within one year, I would also like to gain more knowledge on the industry. Within a span of five years, I would like to achieve the following goals learn the art of active listening and giving feedback when necessary, and improve my capacity to think and be able to have a big picture. Also, would like to practice and master the art of focusing on the aspect of "why”. Furthermore, I would like to develop a leadership style that focuses on raising future leaders through mentorship and training. Furthermore, within five years, I would also like to improve my capacity to discover and hire good talent, learn to manage and remote direct reports. Also, I would like to develop good communication and relationships skills that will enable to be a better business partner. Within a period of five years, I would also like to develop good time management skills.
Within a span of ten years, I would like to develop the ability to command attention within my organization and industry. Also, change my leadership style to be more as a catalyst for change. More so, gain an in-depth understanding of the industry and customer knowledge.

Some of the objectives for achieving the goals are to understand the organization's mission and goals. The second objective is to become an executive that understands the industry and how to create a competitive advantage.
