Student in the University of Dayton are keen on fashion and its trends. Dress codes vary with season, days, time and places. In winter it common to come across boys in floppy beanie hats, a button-up shirt and a hooded jacket to combat the cold. Normally, boys will be in jeans. In summer, gingham shirt is a common dress code in most classes. Usually this is complemented with semi casual trouser.
Female students are keener on dressing as compared to men. During the exam days, most ladies are in their jeans trouser, casual tops with scarf around their neck. On Sundays they prefer dresses, such as multicolored shift dresses. In summer evenings, they will be in stockings and light jackets. In spring, it’s common to come across ladies in vests and stocks. Students’ dress code is fashion trends and social interactions in the campus. Additionally, students dress during some University celebrations reveal our cultural cohesion.
