Transfer of Learning and Learning Theories
Learning takes place over a person’s entire lifetime. From our birth to deal we as individuals learn different things which assist in life and then apply what they learn to other situations later on in life. The transfer of learning can take pace as the person goes into a new environment or situation that they never experienced before. The transfer of learning is very important for a person’s life; this is due to it allows the person to take the information that they learned previously and apply it to new experiences and situations. Learning and the transfer of learning can be explained by using different theories which can be applied to the workplace. In this paper I will describe the different learning theories and different methods of transfer of learning as it applies to the workplace.
