Android vs. Apple Are They the Same?
Can you imagine this world without a cellphone? Let alone without a smartphone! It is hard to think about the world without a smartphone as we know it today. Though there are several types of smartphones, the most popular are Android and Apple devices. Though a customer tends to pick a brand and stick with it because of their differences and they also do not transfer purchases from one to another. They do have several similarities as well.
The biggest difference most people would probably mention is the operating system or software each device uses. Android runs on an open operating system meaning it has a code that is available to the public and anyone can use it or make modifications to it. Apples run on closed software; the public is not given access to the source code. If making changes to your phone's software is important to you then you might opt for an Android device.
Both Android and Apple companies offer software updates regularly. These updates provide improvements to how the phone operates as well as what some apps might look like on the device. Updates to the software are to improve security on the device. We may not always remember but smartphones are essentially computers and can be hacked.
