Background Information

This essay is based on my personal views about theology, including how my views have evolved throughout the course. The essay will also cover how I have been able to apply the principles learned into my personal life. Finally, I will cover how I plan to pass information gained from the course to those within my social circle.

How My View of Theology Has Changed?

Over eight weeks, my personal views on the subject of theology have changed a lot. For instance, before taking this course, I understood theology as a study centered on analyzing biblical scriptures. However, after taking the course, I learned that there are several different aspects to theology, not just biblical and that each part of the theology focuses on different attributes of God and spirituality. I have also learned that theology requires examining God’s instructions and teachings and coming up with different ways to apply them in everyday life. Consequently, theology offers a better understanding of the scripture and a closer look into what Christians should do to establish a meaningful relationship with God.
