Interpersonal communication is how a person communicates, rather it’s positive or negative communication. It’s important to study interpersonal communication to learn how to communicate effectively.
At a previous place of employment, I held a position as a benefits specialist. Answering incoming calls and assisting with anything the member called about. Our policy was to go above and beyond. I had a call that a member who said she has an appointment with a facility but she needed an ASL interpreter for her visit so she could understand and communicate properly with her provider on the visit. The member said she contacted the facility and she was told they could not and did not provide those services at the facility.
