Introduction
The workforce is the major stakeholder for any business or organization. An effective and competent workforce is essential for the success of an organization. Everyone in this world possesses some qualities and limitations. The diversification in the workforce can result in efficient output. Workforce diversification is keeping the people of different ethnicities, education, experience, cultures, etc together in an organization. This concept makes the environment of the organization heterogeneous that aids the learning process among employees CITATION Ali06 \l 1033 (Konrad, (ed), & Pringle, 2006). In this paper, an attempt would be made to explain the workforce diversity in the context of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The workforce in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia is one of the countries of the world that provides livelihood to the people across the world in great proportion. The workforce in Saudi Arabia comprises people belonging to different regions of the world. As per statistics, about 11 million people from other countries are working in Saudi Arabia. These foreign workers belong to 100 different countries of the world CITATION MOH17 \l 1033 (RASOOLDEEN, 2017). The statistics indicate the great diversity among the workforce of Saudi Arabia. In every organization of Saudi Arabia, a diverse workforce is obvious. This leads to numerous positive effects as a whole.
Effects of retaining a diverse workforce in KSA
Saudi Arabian labor market is the fourth largest market in the world. The efforts to manage a large portion of foreign workers although affected the residents of Saudi Arabia in terms of reduced employment opportunities.
