When pathogens find their way into the circulatory system, they trigger the functionality of the system. The alteration of the system makes it malfunction. If it is not treated in due time it may result in defects related to the circulatory system. This paper aims to illustrate the defects as a consequence of this. In this context, we will focus on Endocarditis which is the most common defect concerning the circulatory system. This disease causes the inner layers of the heart to swell which is called the endocardium (Rajani et al.,2020). This also affects the interventricular septum, the chordae tendineae, and the mural endocardium. There are two categories of endocarditis are; infective endocarditis and non-infective car
