General Environment
There are various factors that can affect a brand's success or failure. The general environment of any company including Nike is made up of both external and internal factors. All companies must thoroughly analyze to make effective business decisions and strategy. By properly analyzing its company Nike identify their ideal strategy to compete in the global market. Out of the 7 environmental segments, the two most influential factors that Nike can consider when it comes to its operations are the technological and demographic segments. These two factors significantly influence the company's decision-making process and competitive actions as well. (1) We will thoroughly analyze their impact on the company's operations.
Demographic Segments
When it comes to Nike, their main concerned is demographics. In the height of the population growing old, the company's products have started to shift their purchasing habits. This is because the elderly population and some youths are preferring more of a comfortable brand such as New Balance or Sketchers. A study conducted by the N.Y. The buying habits of Nike's customers are also influenced by their geographical location. According to some, the company's products don't necessarily cater to everyone, which makes them hard to attract customers like a farmer or plus size men and women. It's rare to see a farmer wearing Nike products while he's or she is on the ranch. This suggests that the company needs to develop products that cater to everyone, regardless of their age or workplace. The company uses both innovation and technology to continuously evolve.

They have made it clear that you are not your short comings and that you can adapt. Nike Sole 2.0 x Össur Running Blade is one of the innovative collaborations that was inspired by athletes that are amputees.
