Bullying is more prevalent in elementary schools than in other grades. Dake, Prince, and Telljohann (2003) argue that bullying declines as students progress through the grades. Apparently, 19% of elementary students were bullied against 5% in 4th grade indicating a decline in the trend as student progress through grades.
