Britz holds two Doctoral degrees from the University of Pretoria in South Africa. He is a scholar in ethics and information philosophy. In his career, he is lecturing information ethics at the University of Amsterdam. He is an author of many other books relating to conduct and intelligence. The topic chosen relates to information, and the audience of this book is the professionals in the field of teaching, tutors and ICT personnel. This book looks at ethical issues that relate to information, and it is of great help for thesis, as it will provide most of the information that refers to the discipline of ethics. The work of Britz in this book differ from that of other others selected, as it is definite to the subject ethics. The other author has directed their work to the topic, but Britz has discussed more of ethics to the fields of children and the internet and information in general.
