To better offer a clear understanding, the author uses more than 160 articles from different authors to support her argument. The book will be great in the supporting the research since it will provide clear perspective of salvation from its wealth of information. Green, Joel B. Salvation. 1st ed. The book is organized into chapters such as the Introduction, Being Human Being Saved, Yahweh the Healer, Yahweh the Liberator, How Can we be Saved?, and The community of Salvation: Then, Now, and the Future. Every chapter is rich in information on salvation but my main focus will be fifth and the sixth chapter that directly cover the topic under study. In the two chapters, the author presents various bible viewpoints of salvation in making his argument. The book provides different views depicted from the bible to discuss the life of any individual who intends to pursue salvation. The author uses the Molinist approach to show how God’s sovereignty confront with human freedom in the process of salvation. As a result, this book contains many spiritual passages that defend God’s control in the process of salvation even if man can exercise his free will. These spiritual passages and examples will be a source of evidence in the project topic of research. Lloyd-Jones, David Martyn. The Assurance of Our Salvation. 1st ed. Westchester, Ill.: Crossway Books, 2013. A book based on the scripture from John 17:17-19 about a prayer by Jesus Christ which he prayed after his betrayal and arrest. The author gives a verse after verse expose of the truth in the scripture with the aim of giving all Christians the assurance that salvation is free and Jesus already paid the price. An interesting book that explores some of the misunderstandings and misinterpretations of the doctrine of salvation by various theologies that make many people question their assurance of salvation. For instance, the author shows how Seventh-day Adventist doctrines on grace, salvation and judgment have misled many people on the definition of genuine salvation. He uses deep biblical teachings to answer questions such as, how can believers know that they are saved? Therefore, this source is very important to the project topic because it gives a comparative study of believers and non-believers which fills the gaps of the different definitions of salvation.
