Article Critique
 
Critiques must be double spaced, 1-inch margins (top, bottom, left and right), 12-point font, 2-3 pages in length, and contain the full citation (APA style) on the last page. Note that one paragraph includes at least 3 sentences.   
 
Critique must be written in paragraph style. Do not include a title page.  Include your name on the first page in a header. Adhere to guidelines closely.
 
Remember you are critiquing the authors' work not the subject/content of the article.  That is, do not critique the article topic (i.e., the time out ribbon intervention), but examine how the information was presented to the reader. 
 
1 Brief Summary of the article including: purpose, procedures, and findings of the article  (limit to 1 - 2 paragraphs)
2 Description of major strengths and contributions (limit to 1 -2 paragraphs)
 Include at least 3 strengths/ advantages. Sometimes strengths can be found within the article; that is, listed by the authors. Of the three strengths discussed, please include at least one strength that is based on your opinion of the article. 
1 Description of major limitations  (limit to 1 -2 paragraphs)
 Include at least 3 limitations/ disadvantages. Sometimes limitations can be found within the article; that is, listed by the authors. Of the three limitations discussed, please include at least one limitation that is based on your opinion of the article. 
1 Implications drawn from the findings (limit to 1 -2 paragraphs)
