Technology Leads to Happiness, Healthy Lives and Makes People Wise
Without a shadow of doubt, life in the age of technology is far much better, enjoyable and easier than it was a few decades ago. The invention of the Internet and TV, and modern machinery, in particular, has helped in improving the quality of human life in many ways. For instance, modern architecture has made it possible to live in self-contained houses, a luxury that our ancestors could only dream of. In addition, modern medicine has contributed to the elimination of deadly diseases like polio and measles, while effective cures for many infections have been discovered. Additionally, infectious conditions like HIV/Aids were a death sentence to many victims, but the development of antiretroviral drugs has made it possible for HIV patients to live longer and lead quality lives. Other terminal conditions like cancer, heart disease and leukemia are manageable because of new technologies in the treatment of such diseases. In this regard, technology has improved healthcare services through discovery of effective treatments for many diseases.
