Various issues affect the provision of healthcare services to the current American community. This is attributed to preventable medical errors experienced in health care facilities (Bates et al., 2018). It is feared that most deaths in hospitals are traced back to various preventable medical errors. These include wrong plans being implemented to achieve a particular medical aim. High medical error rates with profound implications are likely to occur in operating rooms, intensive care units, and emergency rooms.

Health is a vital sector in the contemporary human setting. It should be looked at keenly to ensure that the whole population receives health care service irrespective of their social status. Various issues affect the provision of healthcare services to the current American community. This is attributed to preventable medical errors experienced in health care facilities (Bates et al., 2018). It is feared that most deaths in hospitals are traced back to various preventable medical errors. These include wrong plans being implemented to achieve a particular medical aim. High medical error rates with profound implications are likely to occur in operating rooms, intensive care units, and emergency rooms.
The author notes several preventable medical errors experienced in the United States health facilities, one of them being delayed diagnosis, a very rampant error in most health care facilities. Such delays are occasioned by failure by medical practitioners to order for the appropriate test to be performed on the patient, which eats on time and thus delays the proper medication being administered. Others include failure to refer the patient to a specialist in time, misread of results which lead to a completely
