The discussion topic aims to provide readers with fundamental insights into critical theories of analysis. According to Brookfield, ideology maintains and justifies inequity. Brookfield suggests that ideology is a system of values and ideas that support or reflect the established orders. Ideology manifests itself in the daily decisions, actions and practices (Brookfield 42).
