A Book Review of the Ishiguro’s Buried Giant
The Buried Giant is a novel written by Kazuo Ishiguro, referring to the famous tale concerning King Arthur. Notably, the story begins as a fascinating, mysterious tale but emerges to be resourceful towards imparting moral lessons about devotion and honesty. The author explains that the buried giant is the King’s secreting towards establishing sustainable peace between Saxons and Britons. King Arthur asks Marlin to declare a spell on the she-dragon, Quering. In essence, Quering is tasked with poisoning the atmosphere to make the inhabitant forget about their past. As a result, Saxon fails to recognize injustice inflicted on their children, the elderly, as well as women.
