The author argues that a successful society is based on its geographic location rather than on the power of intelligence and biological influence that people possess. In addition that, the author considers the discovery of steel and domestication of animals and plants to be important since it helps in stabilizing both social and economic well being of the society. The diversification witnessed in farming is advantageous to the society as people are able to depend on hunting of wild which is dangerous since it can spread disease to people in the society.
It is evident to say that the book is useful since it address vital things in the society and help the readers to better understand the events that are going around them. Furthermore, the book is meaningful since it explains the importance of balance and equality to all people in the society. This is after the author argued that race difference is insignificant since both the black and the white share similar thinking capacity and intelligence.
