My Experiences With God (Book Review Sample)
Please find enclosed a book that I am writing regarding my experiences with God.
The objective is to publish this book in a Christian library.
I would like to write the book in English.
This is a more informal version, the first draft of what I did.
But the book is not at this stage a mature version that can be published. Now, the book is more a
“childhish” version that needs to be rework.
Please rework my book. The final version that you will produce should be a version that we can
directly published.
Please use only one version of the Bible for references. In French a bible which is most used is Louis
Segond. I don’t mind that you use another version of the bible which is most know in the English-
speaking countries but it’s need to be ONLY ONE version of the bible that you use for references.
That you will put in the reference. And add the references at the end. For the paper format, you can
use “Harvard” style.
I put a lot of quotations from the Bible. There are too many quotations from the Bible. I prefer more
that you explain the idea by paraphrasing the quotation from the Bible (but always put the reference
of the Bible where you took the idea by using the “Harvard” style). You can also keep few quotations
or even add better quotations from Bible.
All the quotations should be included in the paragraphs. Sometimes when I finish a paragraph I list a
lot of quotations. Please include the ideas of these quotations inside the paragraphs and not outside
the paragraph.
Sometimes I put things in red, it means that I put the idea from internet or I add a website that
explain perfectly the idea. For ALL those cases, please write the ideas of these websites in your own
words.
If you think that some paragraphs in a same chapter are not linked, feel free to move one paragraph
for one chapter to another. There should be a real structure when someone read the book. I don’t
want any disconnected ideas/paragraph. Also feel free to add transition sentences between
paragraphs.
Feel free to reorganize the orders of the chapters. If you think that chapter one should be chapter
ten, you can move chapter one to chapter ten.
Do not hesitate to rewrite a little bit the title of a chapter for better understanding.
There are some chapters that are not finished. I just put ideas. Try to use the ideas I put to write the
chapter.
Something also really important, if there are some words that can be aggressive for some people
especially for someone who does not believe in God, please find synonyms that are neutral to
replace those words. THE READING OF THIS BOOK SHOULD BE AS NEUTRAL AS POSSIBLE (WITH NO
JUDGEMENT) SO THAT A PERSON WHO DOES NOT BELIEVE IN GOD CAN READ IT WITHOUT THE
FEELING TO BE JUDGED. SO THE WORDS TO USED ARE VERY IMPORTANT. If some words or
sentences are too radical for non believer in God, please find some synonyms.
Also each chapter should lead to a conclusion for the person who read the chapter. It’s not just a
listing of ideas. There should be a conclusion of one or 2 sentences for each chapter showing the
main idea to keep in my mind or the objective of the chapter. And also one introduction of one or
two sentences for each chapters.
And if you feel that some ideas are not correct according to the bible or to the common sense,
please rewrite them.
Please also make sure that the book has all the requirements needed for a book that will be
published (like a preface or introduction, a global conclusion, a thank you page, and anything else
that I forgot that all the published books have nowadays).
I really insist to have a book with structured ideas. When you finish to work on it, the book should be
ready to be published in a Christian library.
Imagine that this book is your book and that you need to finish it so that it can be published directly
after in a Christian library. Please make it perfect. I trust you.
THANK YOU SO MUCH
