Introduction
BP Plc. is a multinational oil and gas company established in 1998 due to the combination between Amoco Incorporation and British Petroleum Company. BP primary areas of operation include the extraction and marketing of crude oil and petroleum products. This paper analyzes the company financial performance for the year ended 2016 and 2017 using the firms computed performance, profitability and efficiency ratios.
