Google was found in 1995 by Larry Page and Serge Brin while undertaking their Ph.D. at Stanford University (George, 2014). Google has developed to be most popular search engines since its inception in 1995 while its success has been as a result of efficient and innovative marketing strategy. Most of the company employee workstations are surrounded by leisure activities such as strewn throughout the building (Paroutis, Bennett, & Heracleous, 2014). The company owns and operates six Modular Data Center across U.S., one in Chile, Finland, Ireland, Belgium, Singapore, and Taiwan. In the financial year ending 2013, Google Inc reported the net income of over 12.2 billion USD.

The Google Inc. incorporated on October 22, 2002, is one of the giant global technological Companies. Its key business is majorly areas like search, advertising, operating systems and platforms, enterprise and hardware products. Some of the sources of business revenue include online advertisement, selling Motorola product and hardware's and operating in over 50 countries (George, 2014).
Marketing opportunities
The company has opportunities for search engine optimization; it integrates features into its search services and offers specialized search services that help users tailor their search. The company can provide product listing advertisement (Ads). The company further has opportunity to make advertising where the corporation's Adwords is the primary auction based advertisers program (Paroutis, Bennett, & Heracleous, 2014). It is one of the marketing opportunities that the enterprise has the ability and chance to explore as they can create text-based ads that appears in the different related Web content. Other marketing opportunities include operating system platforms such as Google Chrome, OS and web browsers (Paroutis, Bennett, & Heracleous, 2014).

The company good strategy is defined by a combination of sources and capabilities. The company successfully combines its sources and skills, and this strategy is working well for the enterprise (Paroutis, Bennett, & Heracleous, 2014). The care about the users and services is one of the intangible factors that have boosted the success of the company combined with strong leadership and continuous training which has resulted in building confidence of the staff. The rightful combination of both organization and human resource with program system creates the fundamental capability of quick responsiveness to customers (George, 2014).
Competitive advantage
Value: Google provides a high-value product that satisfies its customer's needs, whatever they may be quick and efficient (Paroutis, Bennett, & Heracleous, 2014).
Rarity: The rarity of the Google can be seen in their homepage, unlike their rival companies. It surpasses the 28-word limit policy for the homepage, showing that it is the only one that which is completely clutter free and customers can use their product without any distraction.
Imitablility: Google unique homepage has not been imitated by its competitors hence source of strength (George, 2014).
External Environment
Political: As far as a political environment concerned, it has few political restrictions. Mostly with the department of justice because there is plenty of inappropriate content and classified document and problem with Chinese Government due to censorship of searching result.
Economical: Economic crisis is everywhere, and Google is not the exceptional one.
