If the jury finds that Elaine is partly to blame for her situation, in this case, under the rule of negligence(Ferrari, 1994) the compensation will be reduced as to the extend of her participation in causing her injuries. In conclusion, it is evident that sportspersons suffer the most in situations where the state legislature enacts a law that limits indulgence in dangerous sport activities.
