Introduction
Child aggression is one of the most challenging aspects of parenting, and most parents find it difficult to figure out the best way to address this challenge. Currently, most people claim that video games and fighting are leading causes of aggressiveness in children behavior. It is also believed that domestic violence vastly affects a kid’s behavior and triggers aggressiveness (Gershoff, 2002). The research topic is Childs aggressive behavior. Therefore, the study seeks to test whether the named factors affect children’s behavior.
Problem statement
Child’s aggressive behavior has proved to be a major challenge to the society, and thus solutions should be sought to curb violence cases.
Research questions
* How do the fighting and violent video games affect child behavior?
* How does family influence a child's behavior? Include the effect of domestic violence on child's behavior.
* How can children's aggressive behavior be prevented or reduced?
Hypothesis
Violent video games and fighting vastly influences children’s behavior because children are more likely to identify with the violent character in the game. They therefore end up acquiring an aggressive nature. Domestic violence on the other hand threatens a child wellbeing and it could result to lack of self-control and aggressiveness (Gershoff, 2002).
