Campbell Soup company which is popularly and best recognized for its products of red and white soup cans was founded in 1869 by Joseph Campbell and Abraham Anderson. Initially, the company got explicitly opened for providing canning and preservation services. After more than a hundred and forty years after its foundation, Campbell Soup company offered more than soup cans. In 2014 the company from its head office was competitively operating in five categories; global baking and snacking, united states simple meals, united states beverages, Boathouse, and food service and in simple international meals.
By the end of 2015, the company’s products had diversified and made sales in more than a hundred countries around the globe. Furthermore, the company operated in Canada, America, Mexico, Australia, Germany Indonesia and Malaysia. All these diversification strategies were laid down to expand the market reach of the company’s soup and snacks products in the readily acquired markets and to major significantly on emerging market gaps around the globe.
