Ghosts are spirits of the dead animals or humans that appear to the living things. These creatures are considered dangerous due to their daunting nature(Cochrane, 2013) . Although ghosts are scary in nature they are powerless and weak creatures. In the Victorian era, ghosts were perceived as creatures that brought horror in fiction stories where writers used ghosts in their books, drawings, even on stage to show the supernatural strength possessed by these creatures. In this regard, stories about these creatures dominated the Victorian era where the creatures would be represented to appear in form of murmurs that could be heard in buildings, flickering candles at night, shadows and creepy maid servants all to portray the horrifying nature of ghosts (Cochrane, 2013). However, despite their daunting nature ghosts are the most powerless and weak creatures in history as seen in James Henry’s book “The Turn of the Screw” and S.T.Josh “Icons of Horror and the supernatural”
