Engineering is the process of designing and building. It is essential to instil children with the skill and help them develop these skills at a tender age. Preschool children are always interested in exploring and like figuring out how things work. At an early childhood stage, engineering for pre-schoolers is showcased in activities like marble runs, sandcastles and building challenges during their play. These concepts help the pre-schooler to develop ideologies on various building techniques, which may skyrocket as they grow. At this stage, the children can discover that the tools' used can make people work better and efficiently.
Pre-schoolers can be taught engineering early by building the foundation and making the children realize that engineering projects require some essential tools that allow them to create freely. Creativity is a vital part of the engineering field that helps to seek the foundation and seek out inspiration that makes the results look more appealing and make the work go over the engineer's head. Pre-schoolers need to understand that engineers are meant to build more giant machines and structures, but rather there are different more options that an engineer can do as compared to that.
