Reflection and research
Making it to a career of one’s choice is by no way easy. The individual must be, in every way committed to seeing to it that he reaches the said dream. In the course of the commitment, he or she also has to look at what it is that he or she engages in that is likely to jeopardize the achievement of the said objective. The same cannot be possible if one does not set an objective to achieve making goal setting important in making achievements in life (Hutchingson, 2013). Everyone that wants to achieve, therefore, has a responsibility to determine what he or she wants to do in future and from that, set realistic goals that would help him or her achieve the set targets (Cohen, 2006).

I wish to be a senior finance officer at some company someday. There, I can use finance skills gained in school to better the lives of other people in the society.
Reflect on treasures
With a passion in economics and finance, working as a finance officer shall be a job that I have passion doing. There shall be no trouble while working as it shall be something that I like to do and not one that I have to do. Further, I shall have increased knowledge of the corporate world, something I have always longed to have.
Increase treasures
One of the ways to increase treasures is by having knowledge on economy dynamics at all times. I shall, therefore, have to be well versed with what is happening in the economy and, especially the money market.

Attending finance oriented seminars will be the key to increasing knowledge in the financial sector.
Identify troubles
To achieve the objective, one must have paid enough attention in class. I must, therefore, capitalize on knowledge of economics and finance. With such an objective, time wastage and a negative attitude towards mathematics is something I must avoid at all costs.
Decrease troubles
Such can be prevented by being in healthy relationships with people of the same mindset. As such, I shall be able to increase my knowledge on economics and gain more strength to follow my dreams.

Majoring in finance is the first step to achieving the set goal. I already made the channel in which the river will flow.

Since I am ensuring I will be ready for the world of finance, it is important to go for conferences and learn what others are already doing. That would help understand what shall be required of me in future.

The job is one that shall require an internship before I am finally seasoned for the mainstream. As such, I shall get some place to go for attachment first.
