The Austro-Hungarian Empire was built in the 18th century. This empire composed of the two kingdoms and existed in the regions such as the Croatia-Slovenia. This empire was governed by the hamburger house and consisted of the last stages in the constitutional evolution of the hamburger monarchy. After the transformation that occurred during 1867 Hungarian and the Austria states were both equal to that empire. Austria-Hungary became an international monarchy and was well-thought-out to be high power during that period. In Europe the Austria-Hungary was geographically the largest state, it could only be compared to the Russian empire. This Austria-Hungarian Empire constructed enormous machine manufacturing industry in the world. This was done about 1878. s. This Empire was considered one of the main forces in the Second World War as it is illustrated by Tomkins.
As many believe, it’s Austria –Hungary who initiated the First World War, which killed approximately eight million humans, giving death an unfair share of human life. The duration of the deadly war was from 28-July 1914 to November 1918.Actually, it also involved nearly all powers at the time, like the UK, France, Russia Germany Austria-Hungary and Italy. These countries fought it out in two major alliances namely the triple Entente of Russia, United Kingdom, and France dully countering the central powers namely Italy, the Austria-Hungary and Germany. There was a rearrangement of the alliances and acceptation of other nations into the war as others also left due to disagreement with their respective alliances e.g. Italy left due to disagreement with Austria-Hungary.
It all started when Austria decided to give ultimatums to Serbia which invoked serious differences. Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife were murdered on July 23, 1914 by a journalist. Baron Girl von Esslingen then issued to the Serbian authorities a fear instilling ultimatum one month after the unpromising assassination of Franz Ferdinand’s family. This was as a result of their anger towards the death of their citizen.in association with the German office, They formulated a strategy to induce military conflict that would probably terminate fast. This would indeed deny the super powerful ally of Serbia called Russia time to react to this aggressive move of Hungary and German foreign ministry.
So as it goes, the ultimatum stated that the government authorities of Serbia had to agree with their opponents (Austria-Hungary) on their will to inquire into the murder and its assertion of investigating into the matter individually. An anti-Austrian propaganda was to be pushed forward by Serbia I a bid to put an end to terrorist organizations around, like the one steered by archduke’s killer called the Black Hand. The underground battle then began when Germany stood out to support Austria-Hungary in favor of Serbia so as to contain the effects of the ultimatum. This intimidated other major powers to draw battle lines and more precisely because they could not stand Austria Hungary’s individual actions. This was when Russia together with Austria-Hungary held as one…leading to the entry of Russia’s allies like Britain and France into the fight.
The ultimatum as observed was obviously an ambiguous subject, since it was too much to satisfy by probably any country in the world and even if it were satisfied, it would not meet the full and ruthless requirements of the Winston Churchill ultimatum. To this effect, the British cabinet met in London to discuss this burning issue though it was Ireland's independence that was previously scheduled for discussion. As a precaution, Serbia stepped forward to Russia begging for assistance after noting that Germany and Russia were colluding on unfavorable intentions. Russian ministers met on July 24 to actually counter Germany motive of taking archdukes death as a springboard to initiate a defensive war which was to help it defend its regional desires and interests. The German being a strong country was expected to achieve easily its intentions without any problems. However, Russia went an extra mile to instruct four military districts with an aim of deployment
With the ultimate turn of events, Hungary Austria was duly initiating a fight. To counter Austria-Hungary ultimatum, the prime minister of Serbia called Nicola Basic instructed the deployment of their army. He therefore willingly decided to deliver the Serbian answer towards the Austrian embassy. Serbia just decided to not to acknowledge Austria taking part in the internal inquiry, arguing that it was unconstitutional and unlawful.Serbia was, however, ready to accept all other parts of the unfavorable ultimatum. The result of this Serbian decision did not augur well with Austrian authorities encompassing Gieslingen.so that they could end all this conflicting differences between Austria and Serbia, Giengslingen decided to break morn achy relations with Serbia, before taking off. This truly lit the fire of the First World War on 28-July 1914.
From a close point of view the killing of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria by the student named Gavino Principe considerably led to the main disagreement between Serbia and Austria-Hungary. The requirements of the ultimatum was too much for Serbia to handle, though Austria in a way were right in their theory that it was the authorities of Serbia who planned the fateful attack through the fully armed Black Hand gang, which would have overseen Carville's provision of criminal equipment like guns and bombs .this was to complete the mission of assassinating the surest heir to the throne of Hungary. However, it is arguable whether the Austria –Hungary response by providing unsatisfactory ultimatum to Serbia was to seek for justice or basically on a revenge mission to punish Serbia for eliminating its outstanding citizen. There was no prediction that the fast and quick response by Serbia could convince Austria-Hungary to withdraw its ultimatum. In a nutshell, Hungary was on a mission which would probably lead to the First World War, a major blow to the world’s history.
Administrative organization of the Hungarian empire were not united with the common governmental structure in the Austrian Empire. Hungarian administration administrative structures maintained well the separation from the royal government: these two were related mainly to the being of the mutual monarch. This country was ruled by Lieutenancy of Hungarian Council that was situated in Press burg.   In spite of Hungary and Austria using the standard currency, fiscally they were independent and sovereign entities. Being that the early stages of the unique union that Government that ruled the Hungarian Kingdom preserved its independent and disjoint budget. Hungary Kingdom and Austrian Empire conducted their distant commercial agreements self-sufficiently from each other. (Roper and Steven D, 2003 p 119-136)
Although the Austria-Hungary was considered a grand power nevertheless it contained a larger number of tribal groups that needed their nations. It was administrated by a collision of two influential units, the Hungarians, and Germans. Pressures about nationalism were caused, and the boundless astonishment of a worst conflict activated the system breakdown. This is mostly applied to the lecture topic where it demonstrates the administration and how the people were ruled it structural arrangements of the Hungarian kingdom and the commercial organization as mentioned in the lectures.
The security dilemma is defined as the situation where the act of a country is aimed at the improving of its security. Austria-Hungary created this condition by improving its army strength and created some alliances where other states such as Germany reacted with related measure like the consolidation of the army and hence brought about a better tension that created disagreement that such countries never wanted. Big European powers sensed the obligation to go to war being that they had the feeling that they were not secure on the issue of joining together with their neighbors this was facilitated by the reaso...
