Understanding the Techniques for Dealing with Disasters
I have learned a lot of insights from doing the following course this semester. I did well in understanding the techniques for dealing with disasters. These are the most important lessons to deal with the different types of disasters. However, I could have improved my understanding of crisis preparedness because it is critically an important procedure (National American University, 2016). I think the procedure is quite complex, and it would be ideal if we had more time during the semester to master it.
I mastered the learning objectives very well, and I know this because of my understanding of the course concepts. Also, I understood the teacher more clearly and used every opportunity to improve. My perspective has changed a lot from the start of the class to the end. I am well versed in how to handle a crisis. I no longer fear the crisis because the course has given me an idea of what to do when things get out of hand. I will take a lot of lessons from the course. I have learned that planning is important, and we shouldn’t ignore disasters because they can strike anytime (National American University, 2016). The future lies in the effective management of disasters or crises based on the existing knowledge.
