1 Evaluation and Determination of where you are Going to be in Next Five Years

Especially if someone wants to make sure that they are going to be elevating themselves at the level of the leadership. The starting point in this respect is to make sure that one must be self-evaluating themselves with respect to these goals. First thing that has to be done is to make sure that the set of personal goals are supposed to be setup (Leising et al, 2018). The effort must be about how the bigger picture is going to be evaluated and how an individual is going to be determining where they want to see themselves in the next few years. When the larger objective is being made, then the next step is to ensure that it is being broken down into the smaller objectives. I would start by setting the lifetime goals that I have and determine what are some of the things that I need to do at my personal capacity to ensure that these goals are being achieved (Leising et al, 2018). When that is done, the next thing that has to be developed is to setup a strategy that is based o0n the smaller goals. What I would be opting for are the SMART goals that are going to be helping me be specific, allow me to measure them, and must be set as per their relevance and ensuring that there is some time roundedness set with respect to these goals (Leising et al, 2018). One important aspect is to make sure that the priorities are going to be set with respect to how these goals are going to be worked out and what is the method that is going to be taken to achieve those goals.
2 Determination of What is needed to be done to Become an Effective Leader
The first thing that the leader needs to do is that they need to develop their own leadership style. The leadership style that I resonate with the most and I can personally work out is the transformational leadership style. In order to do that, I need to develop certain traits and I would like to think developing a sense of emotional intelligence has to be the starting point. I need to make sure that how I can work together closely with the people to make sure that I can brush up my emotional intelligence as it is something that I assume has to be one of the defining traits of the good leader (Moore & Rudd, 2019). Even though it is important to work together and collaborate with the people, the defining trait that I would be setting in the people would be honesty (Moore & Rudd, 2019). What it means that I need to make sure that I develop this ability to make sure that I can have this difficult conversations with the people. Doing that is going to make sure that I can put my point across with the people in the manner that I am in the position to clearly demonstrate my position to them and what are my expectations (Groves et al, 2021).
