Question 1
The selected Agency in that particular study is the center for family services since the early 19th century. It is a non-profit social organization near Camden in New Jersey in the United States of America. The center for family services is to support and empower individuals, communities, and families to attain better life through strength, vision, and hope (Camden, 2016). Therefore, the mission of the center for family services is to strengthen and support people in the community such as families, teens, adults, children and other individuals to better improve their living standards.
The targeted population by the center for family services in Camden includes children, individuals, communities, and families. The center for family services serves geographical areas such as Camden, Salem, Burlington, Atlantic, Cumberland, Morris Sussex, Cape May, and Essex. The center for family services in Camden has got a philosophy of positivism by believing that a suitable place for young children to grow up within the midst of their family (Yangchen, 2016). This philosophy also suggests that the most effective way to make sure that the children's well-being, safety, and permanency is to give services that strengthen, engage, involve, and support children.
The Agency of Center for family services in Camden serves the demographic population, including children, Individuals, Families, and Communities. This Agency has a counseling program that provides appropriate life guidelines to all individuals, children, families, and communities. My role as a social intern is to lead the guiding and Counselling sessions specifically for the children. I am therefore experienced in understanding the challenges children are going through; hence, I can help the Community understand the general challenges affecting the children, thus raising them appropriately (Berbari, 2020). I also can empower and develop other individuals within the Community.

Nowadays, there are many people out there facing several challenges daily. Some of the problems experienced are drug addiction, sexual harassment, poverty, trauma, and domestic violence. These challenges need to be addressed accordingly to improve people's lives, encourage independence in oneself, and reduce criminal activities across the continents. Other challenges include lack of appropriate mentorship programs or mentors to the young generation, lack of a proper, reliable, and safe place to call home, family crisis, lack of education and security for young children. The target population for the Center for Family Services is individuals, communities, children, and families. These are mostly from the following geographical areas; Camden being the Headquarters, Cumberland, Atlantic, Sussex, Burlington, Essex, Cape May, Gloucester, and Morris. Children experience mentorship, poor quality education, poor parenting, and trauma due to domestic violence; families experience traumas, poor parenting, poor relationship and neighborhood among the people concerned, poor finances, and lack of Counselling for kids. Most of the challenges addressed by the Center for Family Services are caused by the following factors; single parenting, domestic violence, poor educational facilities, poor guidance or inappropriate mentorship programs, lack of sufficient financial or emotional support, health complications, changes in employment, and loss of a job-generating income. Single parenting is likely to cause problems in most families, especially if the caregiver is a male counterpart or any other person employed to take care of the child while the owner is away since the child may be physically and emotionally abused and also male people are not good at performing caring roles in a family set up, unlike females counterparts. Domestic violence mostly causes trauma, a feeling of helplessness and distress. Trauma is mostly caused by one-time events such as injuries, accidents, and cruel attacks, and they are mostly experienced during childhood unexpectedly. Inadequate educational facilities cause incompetence in the world as most people do not acquire the effective skills needed to improve their lives by building a foundation that leads to an adorable future that is also vital in overcoming the existing problems. Lack of adequate mentorship programs is crucial in developing a kid to become a responsible and useful person in society that may assist in problem-solving. Children need to be provided the well qualified, experienced, and professional residential counselors that can be passionate in providing and engaging youth activities that help them positively perceive life to help better other people's lives. Members of society need to be provided with the required financial and emotional support, especially for children; this helps them be at peace with themselves, gives them the platform to be focused, and concentrates on their studies fully. Health complications might be a huge blow as the caregiver might not provide proper care to the family or the rest of the society. One problem leads to the other, and in the long run, a caregiver may fail to attend to his job, causing him/her to be fired or the people under his care lacking the essentials needed daily. Changes in employment may lead to single parenting that reciprocates to poor parenting as one of the parents may be forced to relocate to a place near his/her workplace, leaving a toddler in the hands of a caregiver or parent who is not well conversant with taking care of young children especially male parents. Loss of a job-generating income is caused by occurrences such as domestic violence that cause an individual to lose concentration at the workplace yielding poor results that lead to an organization closure or sacking of an employee. Before a couple can decide to take their relationship far from their original status, like having a baby, the parents must assert that they love each other and are willing to stay together in the future no matter what. This is to avoid raising children with single parents that may not be respectful, responsible or may grow up looking down upon a specific gender, such as women causing the development of a habit called gender inequality. If not properly addressed, domestic violence may lead to early deaths, psychological torture, which indirectly or directly affects the performance of an individual. Poor educational facilities may lead to final graduates who are incompetent and might not provide effective services required to improve lives, like in the case of a doctor. Lack of mentors or mentorship programs may result in responsible individuals in a lazy society and not able to provide solutions to problems, thus encouraging criminal activities in the society. Lack of sufficient financial or emotional support results in early deaths caused by criminal activities such as robbery. Health complications lead to early deaths, incompetence in the Office, and poor living standards as the acquired useful knowledge is not being put to use. Changes in employment cause poor relationships among families. Loss of a job causes poor living standards and loss of hope among the individuals who are the beneficiaries. Some of the evidence-based practices used include Kaleidoscope, Cure4Camden, Born to Read, Stand.Speak.Empower, Traumatic Loss Coalition For Youths and Camden Promise Neighborhood. We need to build relationships and collaboration among the community to get support from outside organizations and win allies. Also, we need people to share our success stories and journey to success to provide meaning to our lives and efforts in doing work. Relationship building is needed to make people join our organizations or the organizations we are involved in (Couture, 2020). Relationship building leads to the development of successful organizations such as companies and universities that causes Improvement of infrastructure and the lives of the people living around.

Some of the interventions that can address the above problems involve helping the adults, community individuals such as drug addicts and their families recovering from drug abuse, stress, among others, to find their form and improve their lives. Provision of connections between communities by offering members and individuals of the society with the required tools and support services while ensuring they are safe through focusing on prevention to strengthen their family's ability to achieve full potential. Offering children, teens, adults, families, other members, and individuals of the society with confidential counseling services to help enhance their lives daily. Provision of early learning programs to helps boost the development of a child and achieving of long-term success. The Center for Family services presents to you Mosaic Early Learning offers In Camden City with an Aftercare that at the same time offers quality learning services. Parents in need, such as young moms without the appropriate parenting skills, support, or role models to help them start a family, need to be provided with the essentials to help strengthen and navigate them through difficult times. Center for Family services provides homes for the children running away from domestic violence that cause trauma, a secure place for the teens to stay, and babies whose parents don't yet have a home. The organization started its initiative for providing shelter to homeless individuals in 1976. Still, it has several homes in New Jersey to provide supportive housing, emergency houses, and residential care.
