PART A: INTEGRATIVE SUMMARY
Introduction
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a rapidly evolving practice in business operations that allows businesses to incorporate sustainability into their models. It positively affects the environmental, economic, and social elements of a business. Incorporating CSR in business is significant as it helps to improve the company's image, motivating organizational leadership and employees, and improving the brand quality (Wang et al. 2016). A lot of benefits come alongside corporate inclusion of its surrounding community and the market at large. For example, the relationship between the community and the organization is improved, thus increasing the consumer percentage (Wang et al. 2016). As part of organizational profit programs, companies should exercise the norm of giving back to the community to benefit members of society.
One of the many ways that corporations practice CSR is through facilitating initiatives that promote society's well-being. Undertaking programs like providing clean water as well as improving community sanitation and hygiene (Hall, Shannon, and Jagals 2016). This paper will examine social and economic impacts on an organization that engages in the provision of clean water, sanitation, and good hygiene to the community.
