MARTIN LUTHER KING SPEECH
Martin Luther King speech is driven by pain and suffering over the Negro community. He begins
the speech with reference to the past where he indicates the long journey taken towards
realization of a black man in America. Closely observing the speech one can clearly pick the
deep feeling of oppression clearly brought forward in the statement within the speech.Dr.King
saw a suffering which for took one hundred and fifty years and still was going on in the America
society. He saw a battle not yet worn and it was still rolling within the America society. He
however gives hope to the present generation indicating their time has come. To him this was
the moment that the forefathers had been fighting for and that the government had to oblige.
