Fairy Tale analysis: The shoes that danced to pieces
Introduction
My intention is to carry out an analysis of the modern interpretation of the fairy tale “the shoes that were danced to pieces “using a Jungian approach. The princesses engage in a nightly dance that does not seem to be productive in any way other than leaving their shoes in pieces. In these cases, dancing is portrayed as an act that is carefree and playful. The end result is that nothing progressive comes out of it. There is no change that happens in the end and they continue to dance every night, meaning that the individualism presented by the fairy tale does not seem to have any changes at all.
