Thirty six per cent of the United States healthcare spending is now allocated to obesity cases with the prevalence of the cases ranging from 18.7% in Colorado to a record 32% in Mississippi (Baileys 10).
By definition, obesity is a medical condition in which the patient accumulates excess body fats to a pint where it has adverse effects on the health of the patient. The effect is induced body problems and a reduced life expectancy of the patient. The medical definition of obesity is simply a body mass index that is above thirty.
