Answer one
Resolution refers to the ability of the sensor to distinguish boundaries of objects through observing or measuring. To measure the resolution, one uses the pixels. Pixels are the units in a digital image. Small-sized pixels have high resolutions, and their images are clear. With the small size of the pixel unit in an image translates to a large number of pixels in image hence the clarity.1
Answer two
The satellites have high-resolution cameras with high optical zoom capabilities. They help in taking images from distances of hundreds of miles even in the areas that are inaccessible to the human being. The can use to trace the movement of people in areas that no one cannot even imagine whether they can be seen. With their coverage all over the earth, they are used in taking images in areas that are habited by hostile persons. By doing this, no human being as pilots faces the risk of being shot down while trying to move near the earth surface to take aerial images from the above.1
Answer three
An aperture in the optical imaging is an opening through which light enters the camera. It determines how the admitted rays to the camera are which in turn determines the quality of the image plane. Narrow apertures result to sharp focus while wide aperture results to sharp focus for rays with certain focal length. Aperture admits the number of rays and hence the quantity of light reaching the image plane. Focal length is a measure of how light converges or diverges.1

It measures the distance over which rays are brought to a focus. Greater optical powers are associated with shorter focal lengths than with long focal lengths. Shorter focal lengths bend rays more sharply to a focus in a shorter distance. Longer optical length brings out higher magnification and a narrower angle of view.1
Answer four
The four major spectral imaging categories are multispectral imaging, hyperspectral imaging, full spectral and imaging spectroscopy. Multispectral imaging captures image data at specific frequencies across the electromagnetic spectrum. They have a high resolution and form divides the spectrum into many bands. Hyperspectral imaging too, collects and processes information from across the electromagnetic spectrum. The number of the bands are more. It attempts to obtain the pixel for each image in a scene. It resolution is usually high. Full spectral is a form of spectroscopy that attempts to improve on the earth remote sensing. Its data is in a form of spectral curves and the data produced is directly proportional to the amount of information in the scene. Each pixel in imaging spectroscopy acquires many bands of light intensity data from the spectrum. Their resolution is high to make distinctions among the objects.1
