The previous monetarist year was one of the best years the company has ever witnessed. Throughout the financial year, the help of talented, professional and well-able workforce enabled the organization to achieve 90 percent of its targets. Currently, profitability of the entity has not achieved the desired standard, but with sustainability of current growth rate and integration of new lessons and research, it would be possible to attain even better result.
The company benefitted immensely from Research and Development department that was launched towards the end of last financial year. With new findings, the organization was able to expand the scope of service provision while raising standards of existing products and services. The financial year was also decorated by a new wave of strategic alliances with various industry places at all levels of production. Their precious input enabled the company to climb higher and position itself as an upcoming key industry player. Our effort has yielded immense benefits to all stakeholders, particularly the shareholders who will enjoy better dividends and growth of investment.
Executive summary
The financial year will be the most notable in my career bearing in mind that it began with numerous challenges. Nevertheless, it ended with the best news because the company recorded a 15 percent improvement in profitability. The company was able to consider new approaches, which proved viable. Some of the approaches applied included, new marketing strategies, better communication skills, new product and service standards, strategic alliances with other industry players and search for new information and ideas. With the up-to-date rate of growth, the company will be expected to take on major world players after a few years.
Company information
Da Ji is a company, which was established in the year 2008 by Steve Lee. When the company was first started, it mainly traded in jewelry. However, recently the company has increased its product range to include accessories, shoes, fashion clothes, under pants and lipsticks. The company targets to know supply and satisfy needs of women in the society. That was the main reason why the founder chose the name Da Ji. Historically, the name was for a female character in a Chinese Historical Romance Apotheosis. The story behind the character also helped to provide the company with a logo. The logo is seen as a shell and fox face to imply Da Ji’s real form as nine tailed fox spirit. The story revealed that Da Ji was an extremely beautiful and sexy woman. By providing unique, custom-made products, the company hopes to assist women in society to attain the beauty standard of Da Ji.
The founder of the company, Steve Lee was born in London before immigrating to the United States. He is a professional market strategist with a vast family history of dealership in jewelry. When Steve Lee was young, he noted that producers of women products failed to consider what they most desired. In his study, he found that women desired jewelry that matched their clothing, body shape, color preference, weather and other aspects. For that reason, he thought of ways in which jewelry could be custom-made to match consumer preferences.
Since its commencement, the company has witnessed a fast growth, which can be attested by the level of profitability, number of employees and range of products. The company was founded with just five employees. However, Da Ji currently employs over 50 employees not to mention those affiliated with companies dealing with outsourced services. The company has accumulated ideas and information, which have been instrumental in formulation of unique market strategies.
Company strategies
The core competencies of the company include a strong brand name, which is known in many parts of the world. Other competencies include creation of custom-made products, strategic alliance with key industry players, unique marketing strategies and exceptional workforce. Those are some of the unique qualities, which make the company to stand out from a pool of competitors. Currently, the company has a varied assortment of products, although jewelry is the most notable product. Before coming up with new designs, the company normally employs an in-depth market research to access information concerning latest fashion trends, consumer preferences, consumer needs and new materials in the market. In the recent past, research and development department has been instrumental in supplying new ideas and information for improving company products and services. Research and development has assisted the company to move ahead of other market players in terms of innovation and technology. With the help of new technologies, it has been able to communicate directly with clients from many parts of the world.
