It is my dream career; I believe that this career holds the key to my success. In my opinion, I believe that business analysts are born, and training is just a formality to actualize the inborn abilities.
A business analyst needs to be a good communicator; he should be able to communicate in a detailed manner to convey information clearly. Budget analyst must be strong willed as he may be required to smile even when he is communicating bad news. Moreover budget analyst should be honest and with high degree of integrity and handwork
Business analyst should have high numerical and analytical skills thus courses in finance, economics and accounting are helpful, however any degree is enough for a federal government entry level.
A budget analyst has a median pay of $69,280 with a 10% less for lower cadre and 10% higher for upper cadre.
A job as a budget analyst is mostly centered in government agencies with about 20%. Budget analysts mostly work indoor in offices; however at times one may travel to verify projects and allocations in the field. Such working conditions are very convenient for me. I would like to work in an office and occasionally moving out of the office. More so I am not very outgoing.
