The generalization of the Minimalist Design determines the related concept in finalizing the required elements of a product finishing. The Designer needs a huge clear out that can be applied in addressing the designs for different products. Homeowners require an understanding of what is to be retained and what to disregard. Ifs do not exist but the great space should be united with interesting furniture finishes because all the details are reduced to the necessary elements (Architectural Record 110). The ‘Less is more’ kind of thinking works well in addressing a number of mood boards to expand the ideas and create different expressions related to the minimalist interiors. The objective of this paper is to make an analysis of the Minimalist interior space in addressing the Dementia complications.
Dementia and Minimalist interior space
A quality living environment is realized through considering the dementia people’s situations. The basic design elements are the colors, fixtures, furniture and surfaces. Quality designs for the different house artifacts help the dementia patients. It also makes work easy and the staff members are highly satisfied. Color has a physical and emotional effect on the Dementia patients. The Minimalist interior space considers the design aspects of value in making the Dementia patients feel appreciated within the society. The varying design aspects advance the rate at which quality aspects of the design process are applied in creating the right space for the patients (Van den 705). The design process factors in the relevant attributes of dealing with the brain functioning aspects that ensure that the memory is maintained at its right capacity. The ‘Less is more’ belief in design facilitates a quality consideration of the plan measures of value in dealing with the emotional dimension of the Dementia condition. The modern living conditions call for an expanded view in addressing the needs of the different house members within the house (Rafii & Aisen 1).
Colors for dementia Yellow
Yellow is a light color that looks accommodative. The yellow variations improve the general outlook of the images that have been created. It deals with the camouflaging effect that is of value in lowering the extended effects of the Dementia complication. However, Yellow does not encourage the patients to be more creative. It is appealing to the Dementia patients (Dutra 70)
Green
Green presents the natural feeling. It makes the Dementia patients appreciate nature in its totality. A quality matching of the Green and Yellow color brings in the extend images that are part of the Minimalist interior space (Rafii & Aisen 3). Green is not appealing to Dementia patients who may be attracted to other bright colors like red.
Red
The Red color represents love or danger. It appreciates the need for a conclusive approach in dealing with the different dimensions of a quality space (Gross 93). The variations in the painting portfolio bring in the desirable elements with respect to the created images. Red may however be an indication of danger in the real creative interior design.
Blue
Blue is color on the different side of the spectrum with Red. It contrasts Red. Its application in the Minimalist interior space creates the right attributes of the most fundamental elements of a quality color determination process. Blue is disadvantageous because it lowers the admiration from the Dementia patients.
The Zen design
As Dementia is progresses in patients, it lowers the ability for active performance in particular activities. The individuals have to be active and practice their skills according to their interests.
