Social and ethical issues around genome research can be common and wide. However, these constraints and precautions regarding the public and society that researchers involved in any form of genomic study has to adhere to can be put in four categories as follows; Privacy of genetic information involved in research can be very sensitive for the participants (Glasner, 2017). Thus, researchers make it a paramount mandate to safeguard the privacy of this information. The problem leading to the need to hide the data retrieved from the research stems from the intrusive interest towards acquiring certain persons' genetic information by either individuals or entire institutions or organizations. Leakage of such information has adverse effects on the involved participant, like facing discrimination, stigmatization and exploitation.
