Do attitude, prejudice, and stereotyping impact teamwork in an organization significantly? Perception based on previous experiences notably affects the individual attitude of clients towards an institution. Without a valid reason, the liking and disliking of individuals of a particular social status, ethnicity, nationality, or race significantly impact growth in an institution. Discrimination against a specific group of people in an institution adversely affects teamwork. Institutional biases such as discrimination, prejudice, and stereotyping significantly hinder institutional growth and teamwork due to irrational attitudes.
Attitude has a notable contribution to institutional biases. An individual attitude refers to how one feels about something. One may negatively perceive the institution, possibly because of former experience (Madva, 2017). Aspects such as upbringing, cultural differences, and media significantly impact individual attitudes toward a particular institution. The attitude could either be positive or negative.
