INTRODUCTION.
Through the building of a factory, the people around the area and its environs are exposed to much if not many opportunities. A factory which tends to serve both local and international markets in providing both quality products and employing services. Communities that are situated around factories tend to have challenges despite the many opportunities that they enjoy. This paper tends to evaluate the merits and demerits that would face a community situated around such an environment.
SYNTHESIS.
Locating a factory near a community comes with as many opportunities are possible. Firstly, I want to examine the merits that come along with setting up a company near a community.
Employment creation. Households living near the company will be required to provide labour for the newly constructed company in the area. For the company to run its day to day activities it needs to get the labour to aid in producing goods and products for their markets.
