Introduction
Individuals or groups within a workplace setting are motivated to behave desirably in anticipation of favorable incentives. Motivation requires instilling in people an energizing force that propels them to go above and beyond their daily responsibilities. Workplace motivation is essential for ensuring that employees emotionally connect with the organization and freely carry out their responsibilities, supporting its ultimate goals (Stankovska et al., 2017). The importance of motivation stems from the link between it and team member productivity. Employees who are driven are more productive, according to motivation theories.
On the other hand, Distinct employees are motivated by different sets of factors. To increase team member engagement in the organization, managers should identify the motivational reasons that apply to them. In this research, I looked at the various motivating elements that affect people in the workplace and the theoretical framework that underpins their job performance.
