Experts figured out that shoes were first made in the middle Paleolithic period approximately 40,000 years ago. The earliest shoe types were soft and made out from wraparound leather resembling moccasins. Later in the 18th century shoes were made of fabric such as silk people then begun to differ in styles of shoes to make until the 20th century that the face of the footwear did change drastically due to technology advances. The shoe industry has a wide target market from any age group above five years, from ladies, gentlemen and both kids. The preference location distribution for these products are within the U.S, these areas include California, Texas, Washington DC, Houston, Chicago, San Francisco Africa, Asia and Europe. We would prefer this area as it has a large population and the people around these areas are wealthy.
Product classification
Footwear is classified on the basis of the material used in its manufacture of the upper and the outer sole. Upper sole- this the part above the shoe sole excluding the tongue and any padding around the collar. The materials used in the manufacture of the upper surface area is made of the greatest external surface area. Whenever the upper consist more than two materials the classification is then determined by the constituent material which has the greatest external surface area on the other hand there is no account made for reinforcements such as ankle patches, ornamentation, eyelet strays or similar attachments.
Outer sole – this is the part of the shoe that is always in touch with the ground ( the shoe part other than the attached heels) the constituent material of the outer sole is part of the shoe with the greatest surface area in contact with the ground reinforcements such as bars, nails and protectors or similar attachments. Footwear materials can be of rubber, plastic, wood, cork, plaiting materials or composition leather among other materials. Footwear products range from 40$ to 500$ (the business targets those who are of an average social class and the wealthy in the society). The product brand is known as Preizana shoe brands.
Promotion of products
Advertising is a way of marketing a particular product dealing with communication to customers on a particular product, brand or company. Around USA and the world in general the internet is found to be a communication medium that globally provides the advertisers with a cost-effective way of reaching advertising audiences. In modern business especial for those doing business outside the local community advertising on the internet is viewed as a necessity. Worldwide customers use the internet to assist them in nearly every aspect of life hence creating many opportunity placing relevant targeted ad message. Using the internet as a way of advertising has got advantages and disadvantages, the advantages include the internet has a wide reach which can allow advertisers to reach significantly a larger population as compared to accustomed advertising media at a fraction of the cost. The disadvantage that this kind of advertisement has is that a business’s marketing materials are availably automatically to anyone view and copy regardless of the legal ramifications. Trade marks, logos or even the product trademarks can be copied and used for commercial purpose.
