Common Techniques Used In Quantitative Risk Analysis.
Decision tree analysis. In most cases it is used to determine the most favorable course of action where the proposed events are unreliable. For decision tree analysis, the initial proposed decision is done and different pathways and outcomes are done. After establishing all pathways and outcomes, their probabilities are evaluated and the best course of action is selected in consideration to some factors.
SWIFT analysis. SWIFT stands for Structured What If Technique. In this technique, a team looks in how a plan or design changes, may have impact at a project a project through some considerations. This technique is very important in assessing workability of opportunity risks.
Bow tie analysis. It is important in identifying risk mitigations. First, it looks at a risk event and forecasts it in two directions, that is, to the left and right.
