Porter's five models is a strategic management approach for analyzing a company's competitive environment using five forces; competitive rivals, the threat of potential new market entrants, suppliers' bargaining power, buyers' bargaining power, and the threat of substitutes to the company's products. Tesla Company was established in 2003 in California state of United States. It was founded as an electric vehicle and renewable energy industry. Besides manufacturing electric cars, Tesla Company produces solar panels and batteries for storing energy (Cheong et al. 2016). Tesla combines physical bonuses and information aspects in its sales to stay afloat in the supply market. The physical bonuses include gauges, entertainment, GPS enhancement, and features. The company has a very competitive global brand managed through its aggressive mission, vision and core values. The vision of Tesla is to create the most compelling company of the 21st century by driving the global transition to electric vehicles.
