Introduction
There are several leadership theories that advocate sound governance of the employees in order to reap maximum benefits in a business organization. Good leaders are endowed to compose of traits that uplift their capacitive responsibilities above non leaders. For instance, entrepreneurial leaders possess drive, integrity, desire for achievements, responsibility, cohesive decision making and self-confidence.
Drive pertains to the motive behind a given action. For instance, the entrepreneurial motive may be initiated by ambition and tenacity. Achievements play an important role in determining the willingness and effort a leader will employ in order to attain the goals set. High achievement provides satisfaction to the administration board and other management groups in an organization through success (Blick, 2011). Moreover, the progress tops the self-confidence to worker to compete in more challenging projects. The stakeholders combine different expertise and knowhow to initiate success of the set projects.
Managers apply the entrepreneurial skills to communicate the desired objectives to the workmates thus maintaining the perceived standards of production (Lilien, & Grewal, 2012). Similarly, workers are expected to communicate their experiences; either challenges, ideas or other concerns to the management in order to improve the working environment as well as the production levels. This highlights the importance of considering every partner in the organization as an important asset in growth and development of the company.

Part I
From our case study, George demonstrates ‘raw state of power’ against his juniors. For instance he directs Shelley to use a stronger quote for self interest “According to CEO George Latour, anyone who isn’t using the PrexoPro Toolset is using Stone Age Technology.” Shelley thought that it would be softer to maintain the statement since it was just a business headline. George intentions for change in the press headline is a way of marketing his importance in the overseeing the success of Rectonic Company.
George Louters intends to control the production and performance capacity of Rectonic by taking the centre stage of the company. Rather, he demonstrates a dictatorial leadership where he wants most duties to be undertaken his way. He relies on minute engineering ideas from other stakeholders in order, and presumable echo them to indicate his contributions in the development of the company. He is not supportive to Shelley, hence depriving her of the self-belief and confidence to participate actively in the general growth of the company.
George Louters highly regard submissiveness of other employees as key aspect on manipulating him in his ways. This includes giving approvals to any projected activities in the organization. He is a micromanager stereotype whereby he demands reports from Shelley even on occurrence of minor activities. Moreover, some of the reports he is claiming are not entitled to be presented to him. Despite Shelley avoiding criticism on her work, George would have gunned the necessary support to Shelley, hence helping by changing her altitude and working behaviors.
George leadership is disruptive since he is intending to hinder Shelley’s performance since she was assimilated in the company through the chairman. This is despite Shelley’s ability to produce attractive marketing logistics that are even acknowledged the chairman, Mr Pete. George’s unrecognizable behaviors could be the reason as to why Shelley is planning to miss the job through faking sickness. She is not at peace even at her home.
Part II
The leadership highlighted in the entire case does not portray most appropriate way of exercising power in any position of authority. Initially, George looked supportive to Shelley through applying critical aspects that would count helpful in developing her. “To bring her up to speed, George had had her sit in on some of the developers meetings…He had even asked the CFO to explain the company’s cash flow to her.” These measures were intended to boost her job performance and tenacity. However, George approach to Shelley is not rosy given that he does not understand why Shelley harbors little engineering knowledge. In fact he does not appreciate extra contribution from Shelley if at all she cannot produce press releases in a month. The working rate and the target expected from Shelley occur as a huge blow to her working potential. In fact she ponders on accolades she received from her former employers. More pressure arises from the fact that CEO from the previous company tipped her tremendous success in Renotics.
Cushy working environment does not symbolize a soft performance of duties. Given that Shelley was tipped for success with the new employers, it turns harder to live up to the expectations. George constantly evaluates her working behaviors; criticizing her and even planning a set up to senior administration within the organization. George leadership system demonstrate an approach where the senior members acquire credit from the dedicated participation from other the junior members. Instead of the Renotic environment encouraging competition, it is hindering the participation of its members by deeming their contribution. Interestingly, George relies upon engineering ideas released through the media to resonate what currently exists in their company. Integration and absorption of new skills is not fully embraced in Renotics, which could be making the working environment stressful to Shelley.
Conceptualizing leadership is done to determine the attributes and working behaviors by those in the position of power. Good communication skills are regarded as important tools for all leaders in order to relate plausibly with other members in an organization (Blick, 2011). Entrepreneurial leaders should understand the actions and contribution from other employees, customers as well as vendors In our case, firing Shelley and replacing her with another perform could be unethical given that she has proven working record from another company.
